Will Hare : biographie et filmographie

Will Hare, né le 30 mars 1919, et décédé le 31 août 1997, était un acteur américain, connu pour avoir joué le rôle d’Otis Peabody, le fermier du ranch des « Deux Pins » dans le premier film Retour vers le futur.

BIOGRAPHIE

• Will Hare est né à Elkins, en Virginie Occidentale. Ses parents se nommaient George Thomas Hare et Frances Laetitia Satterfield.

• Il est apparu sur scène à l’âge de 17 ans. Devenu vétéran de scène pendant plus d’un demi-siècle, Will Hare fit ses débuts dans le cinéma dans The Wrong Man (1956) d’Alfred Hitchcock, et sa dernière apparition théâtrale est Me and Veronica en 1992.

• Les autres films notables de Will Hare sont Black Oak Conspiracy (1977), The Electric Horseman (1979), Eyes of Fire (1983), Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), The Aviator (1985) ainsi que sa petite apparition dans le premier Retour vers le futur en tant que Vieux Peabody, ainsi que des apparitions dans des séries (TV) comme Starsky & Hutch, ou même Dallas.
