Norman Alden : biographie et filmographie

 

Norman Alden était un acteur connu pour avoir joué le rôle de Lou Caruthers dans Retour vers le futur. Né le 13 septembre 1924 à Fort Worth, au Texas, Norman Alden a servi dans l’armée pour la Seconde Guerre mondiale, puis a continué avec une carrière de stand-up /comédie.

 

BIOGRAPHIE

  • Norman Alden a signé à un accord de développement avec NBC en 1954, où il a obtenu un rôle dans la série Matinee Theatre. Il a souvent joué principalement des gars durs, souvent en tant qu’entraîneur d’équipe sportive ou des rôles de détective de police.

 

  • Dans Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, il a eu une apparition mémorable en tant que coach qui s’est noyé après s’être effondré dans un bol de soupe de poulet ; il a aussi entraîné Burt Reynolds et Kris Kristofferson dans le film Semi-Tough.

 

  • Norman Alden a également été la voix d’Aquaman, sur Super Friends & The All New Super Friends Hour. En 1986, Alden a fait la voix de Kranix dans Transformers: The Movie.

 

  • Norman Alden est mort à l’âge de 87 ans le 27 juillet 2012 de mort naturelle à Los Angeles. Il est enterré dans le mausolée de Beth Olam, (South Wall), élévation 3, crypte G-130, dans le cimetière de Hollywood Forever Cemetery, à Los Angeles.
