Frances Lee McCain est une actrice américaine née le 28 juillet 1944 à York, Pennsylvanie (États-Unis).

BIOGRAPHIE

• Elle a grandi à Los Alamitos, en Californie. Frances a commencé sa carrière à la télévision, avec une apparition dans The Mod Squad en 1973. Elle est mise en vedette trois ans plus tard dans le téléfilm The War Widow, dans le rôle de Jenny.

• Elle décroche successivement en 1984, 1985, et 1986 des rôles dans des films à succès : Gremlins, Retour vers le futur, où elle incarne Stella Baines, la grand-mère de Marty McFly, et Stand By Me.

• On la retrouve par la suite dans la série Dallas, où elle fait quelques apparitions, ainsi que dans le film Scream en 1996.
