#1 Doc's Mansion/Garage
Sam Baines says it is on the "east side of town, a block past Maple", so I put it on the east side of my map. I also put Riverside/JFK Drive near the railway line, since many people think Doc knew the railway schedule (such as he knew about the 11am train on October 27th 1985) so if he lived near the tracks, this could explain it. Also, Riverside Drive connects to River Road (see #15) and is near the river, thus keeping the "River" theme.
#2 Courthouse Square
This is actually on the 1885 map, so it's location is "fixed".
#3 Hill Valley High School
This is based on the possible direction Marty may have been going when he hitched a ride with that truck on October 25th 1985. Also, Goldie Leader's map placed HVHS near CS, so I did too.
#4 Entrance to Lyon Estates
This is about 2 miles from CS (the map is not strictly to scale, but it's roughly to scale). Based on the directions Marty comes from when he comes home from school on October 25th 185 and Jen's house on October 26th 1985-A. Also, it is closer to town than the Mall.
#5 McFly House, 1985
The real house used for the McFly house is on a smaller road off a main road, so the McFly house is too. This also allows for Doc to take off at the end of Part 1/beginning of Part 2 on the skyway and head into town, as the skyway is right above the house on the map.
#6 Twin Pnes Ranch/Mall
Further out of town from Lyon Estates, and placed so that Marty can drive in to Lyon Estates on the left of the screen on November 5th 1955.
#7 Baines House, 1955
George leaves Lou's Cafe and heads down Main Street (towards the station) but is heading towards Lorraine's house. This would place the house on the east side of town, but the Baines cannot live there since Sam says Doc lives there. Part 3 has a road running next to the railway line from Main Street, so George could have run down Main Street for a bit, turned and then gone to Lorraine's house, so that is why this is here.
#8 McFly House, 1955
No reason for this, except I thought George would like to love near Lorraine. Plus it's not too far from Lou's Cafe, and I don't think George would go there unless it were close to his home.
#9 The "Start" Line
Here is where Marty starts his race to the clocktower. It's just down the road from Courthouse Square.
#10 McFly House, 2015
We are now in Hilldale, which is near the Ravine as Doc tells us in Part III. The McFly house is on a side road near the entrance to Hilldale. Just near where Marty (would have) had his accident on October 27th 1985 and Biff steals the DeLorean in 2015.
#11 Parker House, 1985
I thought that Jennifer and Marty would live fairly close to each other, and also placing it here allows Doc and Marty to pull into Lyon Estates from the "right" of the screen (driving north on this map and turning right into LE) on October 26th 1985-A.
#12 Strickland House, 1985
In real life the house used for Strickland's is near the school used for HVHS, so I put Strickland's house near HVHS on my map. This also allows Marty to run into CS from the house and enter CS via Hill Street (the road from the Cafe past Texaco).
#13 Oak Park Cemetery
No particular reason to place this here, but I just imagined this part of Hill Valley would be the industrial part, and I needed somewhee to place it, so what the heck.....
#14 Tannen House, 1955
In real life, the "Tannen" house is just 2 doors down from the "Baines" house, but since Biff has to drive through the River Road Tunnel to get to school, this placed Mason Street on the eastern end of town, quite some distance from George and Lorraine.
#15 River Road Tunnel
Marty tells us this is "east" from the High School, so I placed it east, near a river (hence River Road!) and also linked it up to Riverside Drive (see #1).
#16 Drive-through
Here is where Marty leaves 1955 for 1885. It's some distance out of town, and to be honest it should probably be slightly further away, but it would be roughly in this direction. It also allows Marty to drive towards the McFly farm in 1885 and then walk up the railway from there to CS.
#17 Delgato Mine

Both of these are off the map - the McFly farm is 15 miles out according to Part 3's novel, and I couldn't decide where the mine should be, so it just stayed off.
#19 Hill Valley Train Station
Just down from Courthouse Square.
#20 End of the Line
Here's where Doc and Marty see the bridge isn't finished, and also where they rescue Clara. The big blob underneath is the Ravine.
#21 Clara's House and School
I thought out here would be a good place, mainly because it is away from other places, because Doc takes here home and walks off in this direction from the festival on September 5th 1885 and it's also quite close to the campfire (see #22), allowing Doc to quickly go there and say goodbye.
#22 Doc and Marty's Campfire
Here is where our heroes spend the night of September 6th-7th 1885. Next to the railway, and quite close to the switchtrack.
#23 Coyote Pass
Clara races to catch up to Doc and Marty! Here is roughly where it would be. To the west of where the "23" is is where she saw the train without its engine.
#24 The Switchtrack
Seen on the 1885 map.
#25 The Windmill/"Point of No Return"
Just a rough guess, but I'd say it;'s quite close to the ravine.
#26 Level Crossing
As we see it in the film, just after the bridge. Here is where the DeLorean is destroyed.
#27 Intersection
Here is where the Rolls Royce would have crashed with Marty's truck had he raced Needles.
#28 The Lake
Although we never see it on screen, here is where the lake Marty and Jennifer go to would be. I added it to the end of one of the rivers, plus it's quite close to both of their homes as well.
